Meetings: Church House at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of the month September to December and then February to April.  
In addition to the programme, during the summer months, the Club organises at least one day trip to a place of horticultural interest and a few evening visits to local gardens. The Club holds its own Plant and Cake Sale each Spring and also provides plants for stalls at numerous village fetes. The Club has an Annual Show on the last Saturday in August each year.  The Show is open to Gardening Club Members and the villagers of Adderbury, Twyford and Milton.  There are a few trophies to be won, but the aim of the show is to encourage villagers of all ages to “have a go”.  Schedules for adults and juniors are obtainable several weeks before the show from The Library, Taste Buds and the Club Secretary.

Thursday 23August – Registration for the  Annual Show:  

 Methodist Chapel Hall between 6.00 and 8.00pm.  The Show Secretary will be there to accept the registration of your exhibits and collect the fees.   If you are unable to attend contact by telephone and/or e-mail up to 8pm on the 23rd and the fees must be paid on the day of the Show.

 Saturday 25 August – Gardening Club Annual Show, in the Institute.

 Staging:  10.00 – 12 noon.    Judging:  12noon – 2.15pm.     Open to the public:  2.30 – 4.30pm.
Schedules will be available from April but you may wish to enter the following Classes  and they may need to be started now.
Schedule  –  Class 58:   A photograph with the theme “A Garden Seat”
                     Class 59:   A photograph of “Flower Border”
                     Class 60:   A photograph of a “Water Feature”
                     Class 61:   A Potato grown in a bucket, container or black bin liner.
                                      Plant a single seed potato in one of the containers mentioned, bring it to the show. Its contents will then be emptied and the potatoes weighed.  The heaviest crop produced   from one seed potato will be the winnerHint: “Cara” was last year’s winning variety.
