St George's Roman Catholic Chapel in Round Close Road opened in 1956 making it the youngest church building in Adderbury. Before this local Roman Catholics either attended St John’s in Banbury or met in various private houses … one such being Court End in Manor Road, which hosted worship during the 1940s.

Rev John Burns
Priest in charge of St George’s Chapel is Rev John Burns, who lives in Hethe where he is also responsible for Holy Trinity Church.
