On the edge of the Cotswolds, this postcard perfect Oxfordshire village has it's own local attractions such as St Mary's Church and The Lakes as well as being the perfect base from which to explore the many attractions of this part of the country.
Shopping Just under three miles away is the busy market town of Banbury with a superb shopping centre in Castle Quay as well as some excellent high street shops. Other shopping experiences include Bicester Village and of course Oxford, both easily accessible with an excellent park and ride service from the outskirts of Oxford.
Historic attractions Close by in Bloxham you will find a local museum and interesting church, the village of Deddington boasts several historic buildings including the site of a Castle and any visit to Oxfordshire would be incomplete without a visit to our county town of 'gleaming spires'.
The local area is also famous for its wonderful canal infrastructure, which can be accessed at many points along the waterways including Oxfordshire Narrowboats at Heyford Wharf, who offer day boat hire. If you are interested in the history of the waterways visit Banbury Museum and Tooleys Boatyard which are situated in Castle Quay.
